Approach in Hattingen: An injured by styrofoam!

On October 11, 2024, a rear -end collision on Wuppertaler Straße in Hattingen, in which three vehicles were involved, occurred around 11:36 a.m. A 34-year-old woman from Bochum, who was traveling with her Volvo, suddenly had to slow down when she discovered an unknown elongated object on the road-a piece of styrofoam. Both a 57-year-old Skoda driver from Bochum and a 20-year-old VW driver from Hattingen could not stop in good time and collided with the Bochumer vehicle.

The 57-year-old then complained of neck pain and received medical help. Fortunately, all vehicles remained ready to drive, and there was no major damage. The event once again shows how important an attentive driving style is to avoid accidents that can be caused by unexpected obstacles. Details of the incident are still sparse, but reports www.presseportal.de that the situation was quickly brought under control.
