Bus driver victim of pyrotechnics attack-police are looking for witnesses!

On the evening of October 24, 2024, around 7:15 p.m., a 23-year-old bus driver in Gelsenkirchen was injured when an unknown perpetrator threw pyrotechnics into her driver's cab. The incident occurred at the “Markenstraße” stop on the Stroundstrasse, while it was traveling for line 383. The police found only a fine orange powder at this point and are now initiating investigations.

The bus driver from Bochum could not continue her journey and was taken to a nearby hospital by the emergency services after the incident. Fortunately, she was only slightly injured.
