Last chance: Free rollator training in Witten on October 16!

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the last free rollator training of the Bochum police for this year will take place in Witten. From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the city gallery, senior citizens and interested parties can strengthen their skills in safe handling of the rollator. A comprehensive practical training on a special rollator course is offered, where the participants can practice walking on different substrates and overcoming obstacles. Experts are ready to check rollators on brakes and height settings.

The event also attaches great importance to health care by testing hearing, visual and responsiveness. The senior citizens' office is also on site and offers individual advice. This initiative aims to avoid falls and promote mobility in public space in order to help older people to help more self -confidence in road traffic.
