First exchange day in Oberteuringen: Hundreds of things find new owners!

An impressive rush on the first day of goods in Oberteuringen! In the inn "Die Post" there was a lot of hustle and bustle when hundreds of objects changed hands. Books, household appliances, toys - everything was represented and quickly went over the tables. "As much as you can wear yourself," was the motto, and those present seem to have enthusiastically accepted this concept. "We counted 300 visitors at lunchtime," reported the organizer Saskia Köstlinger. The response was overwhelming: people were thrilled with the new offer in their area.

The cooperation with the repair café is particularly noteworthy, where functional devices have been checked for their condition. Rudolf Knoll explained that the demand was enormous - equipment like a hedge trimmer were out of stock. Many participants, including Johanna Schmeh and Elke Gögele, were positive about the sustainability of the action and the sensible reuse of objects. It is also estimated that many articles that would otherwise have ended up found new owners. Petra Mecking, who helped control the goods, pleased how happy people were when they discovered something useful. Will there be a continuation of the goods exchange day? Theresa Clemens from the organization team seems to be sure of this. Further information on this event can be found on www.suedkurier.de .
