Money for the design: Lenya's grave shines in bright colors
The association of the Palliative Care teams in the district of Böblingen has provided financial support for the family of the late Lenya, which died on February 11 at the age of only eight years. Lenya suffered from a degenerative muscle disease, the congenital myasten syndrome. Her grave, which was designed in September, reflects her joyful personality - with colorful wind turbines, flowers and toy horses who represent their joy in life.
The support comes at the right time, since the family now has the opportunity to appreciate Lenya's memory appropriately. The palliative care teams are committed to supporting terminally ill children and their relatives at a psychological and financial level. This shows how important community aid is in difficult times.
