Red alarm level: Greenpeace warns of species death in Bonn!

Platz der Vereinten Nationen, 53113 Bonn, Deutschland - In Bonn, an impressive sign is set against species death! Just in time for the upcoming World Nature Conference in Colombia, Greenpeace sets up four meters high domino stones on the United Nations Square this morning. This 10 meter long installation drastically shows which animals are threatened with extinction. With illustrations of bees, songbirds, hammer sharks, orangutans and even humans, the alarming message is conveyed: If a stone falls, the next follows-and in the end the person could be the last one who has left behind.

This campaign is intended to illustrate urgency and the need for action in the fight against species death. Greenpeace aims to draw attention to the threat of our biodiversity and to ask everyone to stand up for the protection of our environment before it is too late. For more information on this impressive action and the background you can read the report .
