Bonn: Roman milestone damaged - regulatory office blocks monument!

The Bonn Ordnungsamt has secured the historic Roman milestone on Heerstrasse corner of Wolfstrasse because of a crack. An indication of the damage led to the immediate barrier, while the police were not involved, as it is said from the control center.

The milestone dates from the 3rd century AD and is a cast of the original that once stood on the old road from Cologne to Trier.
