Vampire Cup in Bonn: Blood donations for life-Take part!

The Bonn Pharmazie students give everything for the blood donation marathon-this year's vampire cup! Under the motto "We motivate people to donate blood and thereby save life", the team around Katharina Baulig, Marleen Mehring, Aram Arouch and Phillipp Kinzle organizes the event at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB). The aim is to put the continued lack of blood canned lights in the spotlight and to encourage as many first -time people as possible to participate. Every donated liter is counted nationwide, which makes this competition particularly exciting.

Tradition is being continued for the tenth time this year. "We are very pleased that the pharmacy student council of the University of Bonn is also taking part in the Vampire Cup this year," says Prof. Dr. Johannes Oldenburg. The Bonners are among the favorites and have reached the second and three times first place five times in the past. However, the real success is not in the placement, but in the ability to encourage as many people as possible to donate blood. The donation is possible for all healthy people between the ages of 18 and 68 - the next opportunity is available on Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on many more days. For more information about the blood donation and to participate in the Vampire Cup, visit the website of the UKB www.uni-bonn.de .
