New life in Vegesack: Former shoe store is being redesigned!
The Meineke shoe store, a traditional company, closed in the Vegesacker pedestrian zone almost two years ago. Since then, the property has largely been empty, such as the Weser-Kurier reported. The new owner is Aram Handel GmbH, which already runs five branches in Bremen, including two in Vegesack: a Pfandhaus on Sagerstrasse and a jewelry shop on Gerhard-Rohlfs-Straße.
The Aram Handel GmbH plans to unite the two business areas at a new location that will be located on the ground floor and on the first floor of the house built in 1984. Seller of the property is a private investor while the Nordbremer office of Robert C. Spies supported the sales process. The old Meineke lettering will soon be removed from the Vegesacker pedestrian zone.

The bankruptcy during the Corona pandemic led to a knight's hud entrepreneur for sale, but a restart failed. This led to another bankruptcy and ultimately at the end of the traditional company.
