Crime-Special: Premiere of Class Require on August 10th in Calw!
The world of amateur film is once again illuminated in Calw by the exciting story of "class reunions". The film, which celebrates its premiere on Saturday, August 10, is the thirteenth episode of the successful series "Murder Commission Calw" and is presented in the Hirsau monastery facilities as part of the summer. In this issue, Commissioner Karl Jäger, played by Stefan Lörcher, is challenged not only to deal with a murder case, but also with his own past.
an exciting place of action
The story unfolds in the Calwer Hermann Hesse-Gymnasium, where 29 former students celebrate its 25th anniversary. But the solemn framework is clouded by the unpleasant discovery of two corpses. Unsurprisingly, this is a new case for the police, while Commissioner Jäger is excluded from the investigation due to suspension.
Investigations and secrets
The investigation is in the hands of Lola Kraft and Jasmin Stein, who are forced to master the challenge without hunters. But the suspended commissioner finds a way to secretly turn on the case. The revelations not only put police work to the test, but also focus on schooling of the protagonists. Review becomes an important element of the narrative, since the elucidation of the murder penetrates deep into the past.
beautiful memories and progress
The filming for "class reunions" took place in the Hermann Hesse-Gymnasium for five days in October 2023. This is a nostalgic review for the filmmakers of Mania-Pictures, who started 25 years ago with their first major project, "BodyCount-the 1999 class". Director Armin Schnürle describes the time as challenging because the team was under enormous pressure at the time, while the current filming was perceived as much more smoothly.
The role of professionals in the amateur film
In the new production, there is a mix of amateur actors and professional actors, among which Hartmut Volle, who is already known from other productions. This professional support contributes to the improved quality of the film and shows how much has changed in the amateur film scene in Calw since it was founded.
look into the future
The anticipation of the filmmakers at the premiere of "class reunions" is great, even if there are already further projects in planning. The focus is now on the sold -out premiere and the other performances on August 11th and 24th, followed by a cinema tour from mid -September. Details can be found on the Mania-Pictures website.
The film has a term of 85 minutes and is released from the age of twelve. The spectators can look forward to a fascinating mix of thriller, nostalgia and exciting revelations.
