Another important aspect that was emphasized at the meeting was the importance of promoting young talent in nature conservation. It became clear that commitment in the nature conservation area is urgently needed by young people. Good public relations work is crucial in order to anchor nature and species protection positively among the population.

As part of an excursion, the participants got to know the species -rich lean grass of the Gültlinger Heide nature reserve. The blue-flowering cross-incline was particularly impressive, which offers a habitat for the endangered butterfly Kreuz-Enzian-anisebläuling.

Thanks to good landscape maintenance, the endangered manner was successfully protected. At the end of the day, the conservationists expressed the desire for similar success for the preservation of biological diversity in the district of Calw.
