Workshop in Calw: Healthy handling of digital media for families!

A free family workshop on the subject of “Digital Media” will take place on Saturday, October 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Danekdance dance school in Calw. The workshop, organized by the “Treffpunkt Safe” association in cooperation with the specialist office is looking for Calw and other institutions, aims to help parents and children develop a healthy relationship with digital media. The focus is on how both children and parents can reflect on their screen times.

The participants can expect a wide program with five stations: family rules for internet use, differences between healthy and problematic consumption, a self-test for self-assessment and external assessment as well as preventive measures against media hazards. Social pedagogue Carolin Becker emphasizes the continuously increasing demand for such workshops, since the boundaries between healthy and problematic media consumption often blur.
