Chemnitz, Deutschland - In the Chemnitz Clinic, a remarkable increase in twin births was recorded: six twin pairs are currently being looked after, consisting of eight girls and four boys - all identical twins! Statistically speaking, this trend is unusual, since only about a quarter of all twins are identical.

The youngest twin births took place between the 27th and 33rd week of pregnancy, with the smallest premature baby weighed only 420 grams at birth. However, the babies enjoy positive development and have increased their weight considerably. The story of the first twin couple, Jasmin Malisa and Emily Lalisa, who were born on July 17, is particularly gratifying. Despite the challenges of their birth, the two girls developed splendidly. "It is a little miracle for me that I will soon be able to take my girls home with me," said the proud mother, who comes from Bavaria with her husband and has always been alongside her daughters since birth.
