Start the construction: Garrel's bus stop Böseler Straße is becoming safer!
From November 4, the bus stop "Garrel, Jug Bösel" will be transformed into a modern traffic hub. The construction work, which should be completed by the end of December, promise not only a new laying of sidewalk for more security, but also improved protection for waiting passengers, especially students. Instead of waiting directly on the roadway, waiting ends will have to be behind the stop in the future, while a new bike path for cyclists will remain free.
A very special highlight: two new waiting halls with generous dimensions of 6 x 1.50 meters and a bicycle parking system for over 100 wheels ensure that the high -frequency stop meets the requirements of the user. 75 percent of the measures are funded by the Lower Saxony MBH and 12.5 percent of the Cloppenburg district, whereby the total costs are estimated at around 260,000 euros. The current waiting area is completely blocked during the work, but a temporary stop is set up in the park bay opposite the "Janßen" petrol station to ensure smooth use.
