The Dammer roar: New CD and concert in the Lodberger barn café!
The Dammer roar faces significant events that not only enrich the music scene, but also strengthen the sense of community in the district of Cloppenburg. The popular band, consisting of John-Philipp from the Heide, Fabian Herzog, Tom Deitermann, Lasse Bernholt and Felix Heidlage, has the opportunity to reach a broader listening company with their upcoming album and appear and to draw attention to the cultural diversity of the region.
A new musical way: "Querbeat"
The new album entitled "Querbeat" will be published shortly and comprises 16 carefully selected songs. The highlights include well -known pieces such as "Birdland" by Joe Zawinul and "Just Can’t Get Enough" by Vince Clarke. Three of the songs were created in 2020 when another member, Mattis in the Wiper, was part of the band. The remaining 13 songs are freshly recorded and reflect the current style and creativity of the Dammer Getös under the direction of Thomas Aldenhoff.
The influence of the district music school Vechta
Thomas Aldenhoff, who also works as a teacher at the Vechta district music school, played a central role in production. Supported by Johannes Sahlfeld, another school teacher, the recordings were created last December and then mixed. This close cooperation between the band and the school illustrates how important local educational institutions are for the promotion of music and talents in the region.
Another appearance: Bicycle promenade in the district of Cloppenburg
In addition to the upcoming CD release, the Dammer roar will perform on August 11, 2023 in the Lodberger barn café in Löningen. This appearance as part of the bicycle promenade, which is organized by the "Dr. Hildegard Schnetkamp Foundation", marks the third time in a row that the band was invited. The event actively promotes cooperation and cultural participation in the region, which also contributes to strengthening social cohesion.
The fine sanding for publication
The band is currently focusing on completing the booklet for the CD, which is included in the musicians' specialist information and individual portraits. This shows the effort of the Dammer Getöses not only to convince musically, but also to establish a deeper connection to their followers by sharing personal insights and stories.
With the publication of "Querbeat" and its upcoming appearance, the Dammer roar will not only delight its fans, but will also give an important impulse for the cultural scene of the Cloppenburg district. The musicians demonstrate how community and music go hand in hand to bring people together and promote cultural identity.
