Driving license fraud scandalous: police smash gang in Hanover!
Investigators in Lower Saxony and six other federal states have carried out a large -scale blow against organized fraud on driver's license tests. Over 40 objects, including 15 apartments in and around Hanover, were searched. The police and public prosecutors in Hanover have identified a total of six suspects aged 24 to 32, including a man against whom an arrest warrant was issued. The ongoing procedure examines serious allegations, including gang and commercial forgery of documents.
The fraud stitch included the removal of driver's license tests by third parties and the use of hidden audio and video technology to pass on real test subjects during the tests. During the searches in Lower Saxony and in other federal states, a variety of evidence was ensured, including prepared clothing, 50 cell phones, computers, around 100,000 euros in cash, gold and a shot gun.
