Serious accident on A1 near Stuhr: five injuries, including children!

A dramatic accident on Autobahn 1 near Stuhr was slightly injured on Friday, October 18, including two small children. Around 1:30 p.m., two drivers recognized the suddenly ending traffic jam too late, which led to a serious carambolage. A 64-year-old driver from Cloppenburg raced with his Kia to the VW of a 54-year-old woman from Wildeshausen, who was at the end of the traffic jam. The impact catapulted the VW into a Ford that was waiting in front of it.

Another driver, a 24-year-old Berliner, was also unable to slow down in time and crashed into the Kia with his VW, in which a one-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy were also located. The inmates of the two vehicles and the Wildeshauser had to be brought to nearby hospitals. The total damage is estimated at around 13,400 euros, and against the two drivers who focus on the end of traffic jams have been initiated, as the police report.
