Seven scholarships for students: a sign of hope for Vechta!
Cloppenburg, Deutschland - In the district house in Cloppenburg, the OM scholarships were again awarded to seven students from the University of Vechta. They receive 300 euros a month for a year to reward their academic services and their remarkable voluntary commitment. District Administrator Johann Wimberg and District Administrator Tobias Gerdesmeyer praised the initiative as a joint project that opens up new perspectives for people in the region. Mayor Kristian Kater emphasized the close cooperation between the city and the university, which enables the scholarship.
The scholarship doctors show an impressive commitment in areas such as university policy, the support of schools, sports clubs and social initiatives. "These seven OM grants are seven stories of successful studies," said Professor Dr. Verena Pietzner and pointed out how important her roles are in society. During the ceremony, the scholarships received the graduates Jane Radke, Ayla Karen Helga Schumacher, Nele and Marie Övermöhle, Bianca Abel (via video message), Daria Finger and Natassja Petzke.
