Museum night Kluge heads: discovery tour through Coburg and Thuringia!

On Saturday, October 19, twelve museums in the Coburg-Südthuringen Region open their doors for the big museum night under the motto "Kluge head". Visitors can quickly and conveniently reach sights such as the Kleintautlettau, Veste Heldburg and the German Toy Museum Sonneberg with five shuttle bus lines. A central entry point is located at the Angerparkplatz in Coburg.

Some highlights of the event are the tours in the old Schepfererei Ahorn, the astronomy museum in Sonneberg with live music and sky observations as well as the special exhibition in the Rödental Glass Museum, where creative workshops are offered. In the evening, the castle courtyard in Heldburg transforms its surroundings into a colorful play of lights and in the Friedensmuseum Meeder awaits guests a touching memory of Coburg peace activists. Entry ribbons are available in the tourist information and at the museum cash registers, reports m.obermain.de .
