Season preparation Spectacle: Fresh on Göppingen with new coaches and newcomers

The summer timetable from Frisch on Göppingen

The change in the coaching position at Frisch on Göppingen leads to an exciting summer schedule for the handball team. Under the direction of new trainer Ben Matschke, seven new players are available to prepare the coming season. These changes bring a breath of fresh air and new dynamics to the team.

The preparations will start on July 17 with the start of training and soon lead to the training camp in Weinheim and Birkenau. Not only is it intensively trained there, but also an anniversary game against TSV Birkenau. This opportunity allows team dynamics to strengthen and test the new moves.

On the way home from the training camp, the team stops for another friendly at the cooperation partner TV Plochingen. This step shows the close bond and support within the handball community.

In the following weeks there are various test games on the program, including encounters against well-known second division clubs and the Swiss first division club HSC Kreuzlingen. These games not only serve to prepare, but also offer the opportunity to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the team.

A special highlight is the S-Cup in Altensteig, in which Frisch takes part in Göppingen. Here they meet strong competitors and have the chance to measure themselves against other teams and improve their performance.

The summer timetable finally culminates in the players' night in the EWS Arena, where the season opening game against BSV Bern Muri takes place. This event marks the official start of the new season and offers the opportunity to present the newcomers to the audience.

Before it gets serious, there is a last dress rehearsal against the Rhein-Neckar Löwen. This test game will show whether fresh on Göppingen is ready for the challenges of the coming season.
