Sonneberger jazz days: star act curtis stigers and big surprises!

The anticipation for the 38th Sonneberger Jazz Days is huge! From November 7th to 10th, the city transformed into a jazz mecca for music lovers from South Thuringia and Upper Franconia. The headliner of this exciting event is the American saxophonist Curtis Stigers, who will inspire the audience on Saturday, November 9, with its unmistakable voice and musical diversity. Stigers, known for hits like "I Wonder Why", brings more than 30 years of experience to the city and presents jazzy new interpretations of his best songs from his current album "This Life".

The festival starts on Thursday evening with the "Nighthawks", which present their musical journey of discovery with a mixture of soul, jazz and pop. In addition, this year there is a newly introduced "Farewell Party" on Sunday, November 10th, with the "Sydo Quartet", the Supertramp songs transferred to a jazzy context.
