Last weekend, families and friends gathered on the sunny Maxsainer Klingelwiese to celebrate a special festival. The Evangelical Dietrich-Bonhoeffer community and the parish of Selters invited to a refreshing baptism festival on the idyllic bathing beach.

With cool water from the Wäller Klingelwiese, three children were baptized, while Pastor Swenja Müller, pastor Stefan Thomanek, Vicar Gisella Loyola and community manager Michael Keck donated the baptism remnant blessing. This solemn ceremony attracted around 100 guests who gratefully accepted the offer and experienced the moment of baptism together.

Under the musical accompaniment of Renate Enders and Vera Hopfinger, modern hymns sounded, which accompanied the solemn atmosphere of the baptism. The event was enriched musically from "The Lord you" to a newly interpreted version of "Hallelujah".
