In a nightly traffic control on July 7th in Wilhelmstrasse in Diez, a 19-year-old driver from the Wallmerod community was stopped by officials from the Diez police inspection. Clear signs of drug influence were found in the young man.

A test carried out confirmed the suspicion and showed positive reactions to various substances that are subject to the Narcotics Act. Because of this, the driver was prohibited and a blood sample was taken.

If the result of the blood test is confirmed as positive, the 19-year-old threatens not only the withdrawal of his driver's license, but also a sensitive fine.
