New Caritas dormitory in Nordkirchen: a home for 24 people!

In Nordkirchen, a new barrier -free residential building for people with disabilities is being built, supported by generous support from the Social Foundation North Rhine -Westphalia. The Caritas Coesfeld project is supported with 73,000 euros to buy kitchens and furniture as well as nursing assistance. The delivery notification was handed over on October 22nd. It is planned that the construction work will be completed by the end of the year so that the 24 future residents can move in in January 2025.

The house will house four residential groups with six places each, each equipped with its own bathroom. In addition, rooms for day -structuring measures are provided. This facility is designed especially for people with cognitive and sometimes physical impairments in order to enable them to make a self -determined life. The NRW Social Foundation has been supporting numerous projects since 1974, and this project represents another significant step in social care.
