Smoke -free into the new school year: Coesfeld schools fight together!

In the district of Coesfeld, the schools start a new call to participate in the nationwide non -smoking competition "Be smart - Don’t Start". The AOK in particular calls on students of the sixth to eighth classes to apply quickly until the beginning of the competition on November 11th. In order to participate in success, at least 90 percent of the class members have to do without cigarettes, e-cigarettes, shishas and any form of tobacco and nicotine for six months. Classes that do not achieve this quota fly from the competition!

The competition aims to motivate children and young people not to start smoking, emphasizes the AOK. The numbers from recent years are impressive: almost 7,000 schools nationwide, including almost 1,000 from Westphalia-Lippe, have participated.
