Serious accident in Coesfeld: cyclist and motorcyclist injured!

On October 16, 2024, a serious traffic accident between a 79-year-old cyclist from Selm and a 58-year-old motorcyclist from Marl occurred in Coesfeld. Around 5 p.m. the cyclist tried to cross the K2 when she overlooked the motorcyclist coming from the left. The collision was violent, both fall victims suffered serious injuries, despite the fact that the cyclist wore a helmet. The injured were immediately transported to hospitals with an ambulance, a rescue helicopter was not necessary.

The accident site remained completely closed until 8:20 p.m., while an accident recording team came to secure the traces.
