Geestland, Deutschland - On October 21 and 22, 2024, the emergency services of the police commissioner Geestland carried out comprehensive controls for recognizing alcohol and narcotics-related road users. A 35-year-old Bremerhavener noticed with a breath alcohol concentration of almost 1.6 per thousand and also had a suspicious driver's license with her. Two other drivers, 30 and 45 years old, were under the influence of narcotics. Five drivers were unable to continue their journey, which also included a 43-year-old who had an invalid driver's license for a team. Blood samples were taken from the drivers concerned and they have to expect criminal consequences.
