Burglary in the clubhouse: Community under pressure

Cuxhaven (ots)-In the past few days, an incident that has severely affects club life in Geestland-Sievern has drawn attention to the security situation in the region. Between 08/07/2024 and 11.08.2024, unknown people broke into the clubhouse of TSV Sievern and not only caused material damage, but also left a feeling of uncertainty among members and residents.

The deed in detail

The perpetrators gained access to a closed sales container that is located on the grounds of the clubhouse. Not only objects were stolen, but also the confidence in the security of community facilities was shaken. The incident shows how important it is to ensure security within community projects that support many people in the region.

The police Geestland calls on the population for an active help. Citizens who have made suspicious observations near the clubhouse between 07 and 11 August are asked to report. Information can be given by phone on 04743 9280.
