Jin Jim: The flute as a star in the up-and-coming jazz cosmos!
The jazz band "Jin Jim" will appear next Sunday under the dome of the Hapag Hall. Founded in 2013 by flutist Daniel Manrique-Smith and his fellow musicians, the quartet has established itself as an innovative representative of the German jazz scene. Manrique-Smith plays the flute in different variants and gives the music a leading role, while the other band members create a solid rhythmic basis. The mixture of Latin, jazz and rock ensures a sound experience that is both rhythmically demanding and harmoniously accessible.
With her unique music, "Jin Jim" has already won numerous awards, including the "Future Sounds" competition of the Leverkusen jazz days. They also owe their impressive career to their fascination for various music styles, which range from Flamenco to Indian sounds to pop. Remaining tickets are still available at the box office so that jazz fans can look forward to an unforgettable concert. For more information, see www.cnv-medien.de .
