In a tragic accident on an unrestricted level crossing in Mulsum, a 35-year-old driver was hit by a train and died. In the terrifying incident, which occurred in the Cuxhaven district on Friday, her two little daughters were also in the car - the three -year -old daughter is now fighting for her life while the seven -year -old sister was seriously injured to the hospital.
According to the police, the woman crossed the tracks when the train suddenly appeared. Of the 90 travelers on the train, three slight injuries suffered, and the train driver was also treated due to the shock. This happens after the route has only been released again after extensive track work. The authorities are on site to initiate the investigation and to look after the witnesses of the incident.
