Strangled joy: Experience the exciting corn labyrinth in Bramstedt

In the Cuxhaven district, an exciting corn labyrinth is being built at the Hof Hühnken in Bramstedt, which promises an exciting adventure not only for children, but for the whole family. The boss of the corn labyrinth, Imke Hühnken, has designed a four hectare field with a lot of dedication and modern technology, which enables visitors to get lost in winding paths and at the same time learn something about agriculture. Imke emphasizes that the corn used, which serves to eat your cows and is therefore not intended for eating.

The special thing about this maze is not only its size, but also the attractions that make it a unique experience. Visitors can answer questions about agriculture on one of six stations and collect stamps on a card. The average duration to master the complete 4.8 kilometer course is about two hours. The corn will be harvested from September and preparations for the next season will begin. Imke makes it clear: "The nice thing about such a corn labyrinth is that it is a hundred percent sustainable." The entire field can be harvested after the season, there is no plastic waste and everything is reused.

Another curious element are the personal stories that develop in the corridors of the labyrinth. Visitors often report on small quarrels that happen during the strangling. Imke Hühnken smiles that sometimes couples are caught in the disagreements because of their own disagreements, but ultimately the focus is always on fun. "I knew that we had to go here," often says one side while the other emphasizes: "You always know everything better than me." Despite the small conflicts, most are happy about the shared experience.

The adventurous people still have the opportunity to visit the corn labyrinth by the end of September. A special highlight are the events at dusk and a scary evening with disguised actors. These events offer an additional portion of thrills and are a great way to experience the labyrinth in a new light.

Visitors such as Katrin and Arne Kreiger from Osterholz-Scharmbeck are enthusiastic about the offer, especially the children who are wrong with the labyrinth. Although the labyrinth is particularly designed for families, youth groups and grandparents also come with their grandchildren to spend time together and enjoy the adventure. Imke wants to reflect on the beautiful experiences not only for visitors, but also for themselves. "At the end of the season I go in with my sons, get the stations out and say goodbye to the cornlabyrinth this year," she says. At the same time, she is already looking at the next season and has many new ideas to further improve the experience.

A funny history of origin contributes to the popularity of the labyrinth: Imke once received the proposal from her husband to make a marriage proposal in the corn field, and this led to the idea of a labyrinth. "We tried it and said that if we can do it, let's just do it," explains Imke. Well, years later, the corn labyrinth is very popular and attracts many adventurers who are looking for excitement and fun.

The corn labyrinth in the Cuxhaven district not only offers an entertaining weekend for the whole family, but also creates numerous memories that stay long. With a sustainable concept and a lot of passion, the court has become a real attraction in the region.
