Excitement on the track: Rally sprint in Deggendorf inspires fans!
Primbsenhof, Deutschland - In an exciting competition, AC Deggendorf e.V. recently organized the 26th and 27th rally sprint at the Deggendorf motorway junction in the ADAC. With 46 participants, the drivers fought for valuable championship points in the South Bavarian ADAC SPRINT championship and the Lower Bavarian Maier-Korduletsch Rally Championship. The achievements of the RGR Rallye team are particularly noteworthy. Driver Thomas Sobek and his co-pilot Siegi Schrankl, who competed with their Mitsubishi Evo, made it to third place in the first event, "Primbsenhof 1", behind the strong teams Weileder and Schweiger.
In the second through phase of "Primbsenhof 2", Sobek and Schrankl showed an improvement and climbed to second place in their rating class NC1, but had to do without a further chance to improve due to a break. They took second place in the end result, while the Weileder team again emerged as a class winner. In addition, another RGR team, Thomas Lang and Frank Huber, started in the category of standard vehicles, but could not take part in the second event due to technical problems. Further information on the results can be found in the press release from RGR Rosenheim.
