Neuenburg am Rhein, Deutschland - A 35-year-old Spanish citizen was arrested on Monday morning (April 7th, 2025) by the federal police on the A5 near Neuchâtel am Rhein. The man who traveled from Barcelona to Frankfurt am Main was blown up at the police check because there was an arrest warrant against him. This was issued because he had not paid a fine from a drug offense from 2021.

to meet instead of his judicial obligation, the man was immersed abroad. The federal police now took the arrest warrant and it was brought to the next correctional facility. There he has to serve a replacement imprisonment of 40 days after not paying the fine.
