Senior woman runs 10 kilometers on the A5 - driver's license away!

On Sunday evening, a 78-year-old false driver on the A5 caused dangerous situations when she was traveling in the opposite direction. The police alerted about 30 road users after noticed the senior citizen in the wrong lane. First she drove correctly towards Karlsruhe, but then turned at the "Waldmatten" parking lot and raced in the left lane about ten kilometers in the wrong direction.

Thanks to the prudent behavior of other drivers and quickly intervening police forces, a serious accident could be prevented. The emergency services locked entrances to the motorway and slowed down the traffic until they could finally stop the false driver. Her driver's license has now been confiscated after bringing great risk to herself and others with her dangerous maneuver.
