Spectacular frontal collision on the L531: 8 injured after the accident!

L 531, Dossenheim, Deutschland - On April 12, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident on the L531 in Dossenheim around 8:30 p.m. A 39-year-old driver who was traveling in a VW with four occupants ignored the right of way of a privileged Peugeot when he turned towards A5. This mishap led to a violent frontal collision between the two vehicles.

The collision left both cars badly damaged, and the accident site had to be cordoned off. Rescue workers hurried to supply the occupants. A total of eight people were transported to surrounding hospitals. Three of the injured people suffered serious, but fortunately no life -threatening injuries, including broken bones. The property damage caused amounts to around 30,000 euros. The Heidelberg traffic service has taken over the investigation and examines the exact circumstances of the accident.
