Explosion in Ulm industrial stove: Technical defect triggers fire!

In a dramatic incident in Württemberger Straße, an explosion in an industrial stove occurred in the afternoon. When the employees put the device into operation, a technical defect that led to a violent explosion happened. Fortunately, the brave employees managed to extinguish the fire before the fire brigade arrived.

The fire brigades from Blaubeuren, Gerhausen and Weiler were on site with impressive 80 emergency services and 14 vehicles, but were no longer in use after the fire was already under control. The Ehingen police have started the investigation into the exact cause of the incident. The first reports indicate that chemicals were initiated into the combustion chamber, which triggered the explosion. The property damage is estimated at around 100,000 euros. Fortunately there were no injuries.
