Cable drum causes dangerous accident on the B30!
A serious incident occurred this morning around 9:15 a.m. on the Laichingen street towards Merklingen. An unknown vehicle team suddenly lost a cable drum that fell directly onto the road. The driver of a VW Passat, who drove behind the team, had no chance to react and collided with the obstacle.
Fortunately, the driver was not injured, but the frontal bumper of his vehicle was damaged. The responsible driver of the team continued his journey without taking care of the lost cable drum - whether he noticed the loss at all remains uncertain. The police in Ulm are now looking for witnesses of the incident to collect further information.| Details | |
