Big forest fire at Sankt Blasier: Police are looking for witnesses!

On Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2025, a fire broke out in a forest area between Sankt Blasier Straße and Heidebuckweg, which quickly grew up to a surface fire to around 3,800 square meters. With a large contingent of firefighters, they hurried to help, and after hours of extinguishing work, the fire was fortunately brought under control. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The police have initiated initial investigations and does not rule out negligent arson. The Waldshut-Tiengen police station asks for information from witnesses who may have observed something striking in the affected forest area at the time of the fire. Every hint could be decisive!
