Serious accident on B3: 19-year-old collides with BMW-several injuries!

on Sunday evening, around 7:30 p.m., there was a serious traffic accident on the B3 between Friesenheim and Oberschopfheim. A 19-year-old lost control with his Hyundai for an unknown cause and raced onto the opposite lane, where he collided with a BMW. The two drivers were seriously injured, while four inmates in the BMW, between the ages of 60 and 70, suffered minor injuries.

All injuries were immediately transported to surrounding hospitals. The B3 remained closed for about three hours, while emergency services, a rescue helicopter and the Friesenheim fire brigade were on site to cope with what is happening. The property damage is estimated to be 30,000 euros. The police initiated the investigation into the course of the accident.
