Motorcycle drivers seriously injured: dramatic accident on L80!

On Saturday afternoon there was a serious motorcycle accident on the L80 between Sinzheim-Leberstung and Rheinmünster-Schwarzach. At around 4:40 p.m., the 49-year-old driver of a Honda collided with an oncoming Hyundai. The terrible crash led to the motorcycle opened immediately in flames. Fire brigade forces were quickly on hand to extinguish the burning vehicle.

The motorcyclist suffered life -threatening injuries and was flown to a clinic with a rescue helicopter. The three inmates of the Hyundai, on the other hand, were only slightly injured. Due to the severity of the accident, the L80 remained completely closed until the evening, while the police carried out the accident. The total damage is estimated at around 15,000 euros. The Baden-Baden transport service now takes over the investigation into the exact course of the accident.
