ESC 2025: These seven acts are fighting for Germany's final ticket!

Basel, Schweiz - On February 14, 2025, the first live show of the preliminary decision "ChefsC 2025" took place, in which twelve acts for the qualification for the semi-finals for the decision of the German contribution for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) fought in Basel. The event was moderated by Barbara Schöneberger. The top -class jury consisted of prominent musicians, including Stefan Raab, Elton, Yvonne Catterfeld and Max Mutzke. A total of 3,281 artists took part in this competition, from which 24 acts came into the final round. Seven of them were allowed to move into the semi -finals, which will take place on February 22, 2025, while the grand finale is scheduled for March 1, 2025.

The victorious acts from the first show were chosen as follows: Julika, Benjamin Braatz, Cage, Feuerschwanz, Abor & Tynna, Cosby and Jonathan Henrich. These talents will continue to compete for the opportunity to represent Germany at the ESC, which will take place in Switzerland on May 17, 2025.

The next live show takes place on February 15, 2025, followed by the semi-finals on February 22, 2025. The ESC is an important event in which Germany has an outstanding story. As one of the founding countries of the ESC in 1956, Germany is always striving to win another victory after the last in 2010 was successful with Lena and the hit "Satellite". Previously, the first victory was in 1982 when Nicole triumphed with "a little peace". Despite Germany, Germany has only exposed once since its foundation, in 1996.
