Oilpest on the L283: Police are looking for the environmental fleet!

Bad Schussenried, Deutschland - An unknown driver left a massive oil barrier on the L283 between the Sattenbeurer intersection and Reichenbach, which is about 300 meters long. The incident occurred on Thursday or Friday when the engine -driven vehicle lost oil after a suspected defect. The police were alerted on Friday evening at 7:15 p.m. after the oil trail was discovered. The fire brigade was able to remove a large part of the leaked oil with special means on the same evening.

The expired oil spread over the confluence with the L283 and then had to be treated immediately by a specialist in the Water Management Office, since the area is shown as a water protection area. The top layer of earth of the contaminated area was removed on Saturday. The Biberach police have started the investigation and asks witnesses to report on telephone numbers 07371/938-0 or 07351/4470. So far there is no evidence of the cause of this environmental damage.
