Wald owl on the street: Police save injured night hunters!

On the night at 2 a.m., police officers from Laupheim in Großschaffhausen came across a helpless forest owl that was sitting in the middle of Wainer Straße. The apparently injured bird could hardly move and was apparently unable to fly. The officials briefly packed the animal into a ceiling and brought it to the police station.

There the forest owl was not handed over in the hospital, but to a reception station for birds of prey. According to initial findings, the bird had suffered a hint, possibly after a collision with a vehicle. Fortunately, the owl suffered no breaks and is already on the way of improvement. It is expected to be released again at his site.
