A tragedy on the Friedrichshafen exhibition center! On Monday afternoon, shortly after 4:30 p.m., a wooden core hut ignited that opened in flames and burned down completely. A massive column of smoke was visible over the area and alerted the fire brigade, which, however, had to watch out how the approximately 200 square meter hut was transformed into an inferno.
Fortunately, at the time of the fire there was only operating staff in the hut, which could quickly get to safety - there were no injuries! Nevertheless, the property damage amounts to several ten thousand euros. The cause of the fire could possibly be related to maintenance work that was currently being carried out in the hut.
