Dielheim, Deutschland - on Thursday afternoon, around 3:16 p.m., a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the K4171. A 31-year-old Ford driver, who was traveling from Mühlhausen towards Dielheim, came into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and collided with a VW. The impact was so violent that the VW came off the road, overturned and fallen down a three -meter -deep embankment.

The Ford driver suffered serious injuries, while a 2-year-old child in the Ford, luckily unharmed, was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The 38-year-old driver of the VW also suffered injuries, whose severity has so far been unclear. He was found with a strong alcohol smell, a breath alcohol test resulted in a value of over 0.9 per thousand. Both vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be towed. The total damage amounts to over 40,000 euros. During the accident recording, the road was blocked in both directions.
