Serious accident on B37: Eberbacher driver overturns and is seriously injured

A serious accident occurred on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, around 4:43 p.m. on the B37 near Eberbach. A 45-year-old driver from Eberbach lost control of his Toyota when overtaking another vehicle. The car got off the road, raced across a parking lot, fell down a slope and overturned several times before it came to a standstill about 15 meters before the Neckar. The man was thrown out of the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.

Fast intervention was necessary: ​​a rescue helicopter brought the injured to a nearby clinic after the first treatment. Significant property damage of around 20,000 euros was made on the vehicle. There were numerous emergency services on site for accident recording and recovery measures, including police patrols from Hesse and Baden-Württemberg, fire brigade and a police helicopter. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is still in progress. Witnesses are asked to report to the Wald-Michelbach police station.
