Rapid escape on the A5: 39-year-old caught in alcohol frenzy!

On Saturday afternoon, a 39-year-old driver slipped control when he tried to avoid police control on Autobahn 5 near Karlsruhe-Durlach. The driver of a Mercedes S-Class with Munich license plates noticed other road users due to his ruthless driving style and drove over the fortifier at an end of the traffic jam, which endangered a man standing.

After the police wanted to stop him at the Karlsruhe-Durlach junction, the driver accelerated and rested south. In a right -hand bend he collided with the middle course plank, but continued his escape. Finally, police officers were able to stop him shortly before the Ettlingen exit. A breath alcohol test on site showed a worrying value of around 2.4 per thousand. The man's driver's license was confiscated and he now has to expect serious legal consequences. The police are also looking for possible victims or witnesses of the incident.
