Holsteinstadion, 24103 Kiel, Deutschland - The football game between KSV Holstein Kiel and SC Freiburg in the sold-out Holstein Stadium was largely trouble-free despite violent emotions. The guests from Freiburg had traveled in large numbers to support their team. However, there were interruptions during the game when the Freiburg fans ignited pyrotechnics. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the police issued appropriate ads.

After the final whistle, however, the minds escalated: there were physical arguments between Kiel fans, which were quickly ended by the law enforcement officers. In addition, the emergency services had to intervene after a dispute among three women who led to attacks. But that wasn't all! Near the stadium, a man was injured by a bottle throw on the head and required medical treatment. The police also accepted a criminal complaint here, while the perpetrators remained fleeting.

Despite these incidents, the event remains an exciting football festival - but for the police a clear indication of the risks of such major events!
