In the early morning hours, exactly at 3:02 a.m., the firefighters from Voerde and Friedrichsfeld were called for a dramatic fire. An approximately 10 × 5 meter device shed was in flames that were visible from afar.

The firefighters fought the flames for two hours to extinguish the fire. After intensive efforts, the operation could finally be ended, and the emergency services moved in again, ready for use for possible further emergencies. The police started the investigation into the cause of the devastating fire.
