Full closure of the B 10 to Reifenplatzer: Chaos in the after -school service!

On Monday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident on the B 10 near Plochingen, which completely blocked the road for several hours! A 23-year-old caused the incident when he was bursting with the right front tire of his Mercedes and the entire tread was torn down shortly before the Reichenbach exit. The driver of a truck and another Mercedes driver were able to stop in time, but a 27-year-old VW driver recognized the danger too late and crashed into the vehicles that were stopped.

In total, three vehicles had to be towed, and the total damage is estimated at around 22,000 euros. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The full closure of the road towards Göppingen led to enormous traffic disruptions - the traffic jam extended to the Plochinger triangle. The B 10 could not be released until around 5:15 p.m. Drivers had to adjust to alternative routes during this critical period. An increased caution is all the more important in view of such incidents!
